Although there are several types of meadows around the world, when one typically thinks about a meadow, we envision open fields of soft grass and flowers. Birds and butterflies flying about, and the sound of the wind blowing across the open field. Peaceful and harmonious, a place to reflect.

Our In the Meadow colorway embodies those soft, natural colors you might find in meadows. With this colorway, we kept the color application light. Here we have a soft brown and yellow base and then speckled different hues of green and a bright blue. The yarn base is a well-constructed DK weight, 4-ply, 75/25 Fine SW Merino / Nylon blend. The yarn is soft, but durable enough for high use items like sweaters, hats, gloves, blankets, and scarves.

-Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.

If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process. 

**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
